Responsive Web Design for In-House Teams and Non-Unicorns
These days there’s a lot of talk about unicorns. When we’re designing in the browser, creating complex user workflows, and building sites with more breakpoints than you could ever provide comps for – it sounds like everyone’s expected to be able to do everything well. Read more...
Creating Atomic Design Systems With Pattern Lab
Atomic design has proven to be a sound methodology for crafting robust interface design systems. And Pattern Lab has proved itself to be a powerful tool for bringing atomic design systems to life. Submit A Lightning Talk
Our call for Lightning Talks is open! There are four slots available and each talk is 10-minutes long. It’s a great way to break up the day between longer presentations and a perfect opportunity for you to get on stage and share something you’re passionate about.
Interested in speaking? Please visit our Lightning Talk Submission Form for more information on what we are looking for!
Submissions are open from Jan 22, 2016 until Feb 19th, 2016. Lightning Talk speakers will be announced on February 24th, 2016.
We've been known for our unique after parties - and we plan on keeping that up this year. We have a few awesome things planned. Two of which we can let you in on a bit early:
Our first surprise is that we are honored as heck to know that none other than Chris Coyier and Dave Rupert will be hanging out with us recording an episode of our favorite Web Design & Development podcast, Shop Talk!
Second, while we are still finalizing the location of the after-party, we can confirm that it will be within walking distance of the New Hazlett. The days of driving across town after our conference are long gone! This rules not only for the convenience, but also because the LA Dodgers are in town for a game that night.
Why, yes! Thank you for asking!
Our remaining main-stage speakers will be announced in early February and Lightning Talk speakers will be announced on February 24th.
We have secured sponsorships that will allow us to offer scholarships again this year. Read more and apply.
More details for our after-party will be announced soon - we have one or two more exciting surprises planned for this year.
We’re also working with a few hotels to offer discounts for our out-of-town guests.
Check back soon for our full speaker topics and descriptions.
